ANYONE FEELING THOSE TIGHT JOINT LOCKS WOULD KNOW THIS IS NO JOKE!
P.S. AIKIDO TECHNIQUES ARE NOT ALLOWED EVEN IN mma, AS THE DAMAGE IN APPLYING SUCH LOCKS IS LIFE-CHANGING,
TALK ABOUT AIKIDO BEING A NON-COMBAT SPORT ….HAHAHAHA
Great stuff. BUT too choreographed. Be REAL
This demonstration is not believable. Those who are being thrown aren't putting up any defense.
elegance,energy,ability and agility!
Wow
👍👍👏
Magnifique démonstration, merci
Wow he got a lot better in the last 20 years apparently. Thanks for posting.
Niceeee
i see no enemy ~ there is no enemy
This is a demonstration of techniques, that everyone is very clear about it, and that everyone who believes that this is very soft, who knows that there are blows in Aikido, is called ATEMI.
Aïkido is letting go of the need to win and learning the art of allowing
That's all well & good if an attacker runs up and offers you his arm, but what to do if he's armed with a piece of fresh fruit?
Why are they all running up to him and giving him their hands that's what I want to know they're just running up going here take my hand flip me my turn I want to be flipped hurry up you flipped Billy enough is my turn
The dude being flipped is working the hardest here
OSU!
Thanks for this! I did Ed Parker Kenpo for a few years and it was great but Aikido has been soooo much more practical for self defense. Before I learned proper ukemi I was always getting hurt, even though I did lots of yoga. Much of the ukemi is to protect Uke from getting joints destroyed, or even breaking a neck. Yes, it looks fake as hell, and some of the attacks are silly as they can be in real life. But that's one of the great things about it. It also develops centeredness and proprioception. This is perfect for women who aren't aggressive by nature.
Army trains cadets in all these martial arts for unarmed combat
Muito show.
Pretty much choreographed. I want my time back.
Bien. Venue. ❤
One of the most useless arts of all.
como se llama la pelicula ?
Very nice dancing routine
Give me your hand – but not too fast.
Looks like the surface have been scratched… just the surface. These are the known masters/grandmasters what about the unknown???
Dance not martial arts
I used an armbar ( standing ) in a street fight once.
The technique movements work but you cannot keep the guy under control.
There is the adrenaline released in the fight which makes him feel no pain.
No pain – no control! Do not forget that!
What works?
Knockout and knockdown punches and kicks, judo sweeps, throws and ground-control chokes.
You have to actually mangle him to win.
Lindo aikido y los ukes muy expertos
So good!
super demo
LUAR BIASA… MANTAP
Unrealistic. Fights don't happen this way. No one comes at you in this manner. The most effective is usually the least complicated technique. Punches, kicks, wrestling (jiujitsu)
