  4. I love Aikido, it was my first martial art, BUT the title to this video is completely misleading, and shows no honor to the producers. If you put this master in the octagon with real MMA fighters, his techniques that he demonstrated would be all but worthless. I am disappointed in the dishonesty being promoted here.

    So, "Does Aikido Master's technique work for MMA fighter?" in the controled environment in the video, yes, but in a real fight in the octagon, NO.

  14. Amazing stuff and truely effective. Thank you for this video. People like to say it's fake because the opponents throw themselves. I explain to them that in some situations they have to because if they try to go against the momentum, their bones, joints, etc. Will break if they try to hold back. Some people will just have to experience it to understand. (Learn the Hard way). LOL

    矢地さんとかにかけてる時って、怪我しないようにゆっくりやってるんですよね
    実際の速さだと、人間反射速度では追いつかないかも

  20. Aikido will work in a street fight. There a 4 gang members in Galveston Texas that attempted to rape a 110lb female with 5yrs of aikido training. There were several injured. It is not a fast belt driven martial art. Just grab someone practicing aikido in true anger and you might learn just how well it works. They will have already tried to ask you to stop.

  21. I played aikido for about 25 yrs and am about to start back for fun. You warn someone to leave you alone, if they don't stop you can cause pain, if they are stupid you can break their arm, if they have not figured it out yet and you can not disengage then rip their arm of and beat them with it. It has served me well. It comes as a big surprise if you can not talk your way out of trouble, you never start trouble but you can end it. Very nice video.
