Like all aikido: most beautiful principles. But the handing over of the hand, instead of a real attack brings it down to a form of ballet. No kime, no fire. No ki.

I've never seen a person capable of catching a punching arm in any Martial arts or in sports in real life. Professional fighters either block or dodge a punch. Is this really possible in a real fight or they just practice Aikido like the Chinese practicing Taichi?

Absolutely beautiful movement
So many experts saying "Aikido is useless" Is it an effective combat sport? No it that context in a grappling match etc or as a combat sport it is useless. However in a true self defence setting it can work! When i was working the doors no one just runs up and hits you. In sometimes happens but rarely does it happen like that. What happens is something called the pre fight. And that involves someone usually getting in your face or pointing fingers etc or usually an aggressive push! In this context you can use the locks effectively
wonderful demonstration of fantastic Aikido. Someone who knows can watch and see if what they are seeing is skills performed by someone who can be effective and "deadly" or someone who only knows the "dojo" skill sets or what I call Fluffy Bunny version. Usually very obvious and clear very quickly in a video. Demonstrations and training are very different than real life street. You can't really show the real life street version, most of the time, because it is to harmful and damaging to actually do it in the same way as for real . Most people misunderstand that most youtube videos are demonstrations and dojo executions of these skills. No one really tries to harm anyone. As well Uke complies as so not to be harmed. I can see the skills here and I enjoy watching this channel.

I don't hate aikido but it is the most delusional martial art. You guys need to try your technique with another real martial artist for instance Silat Harimau or you name it. It has nothing to do with who will win or lose, but you will see weather aikido is really useful or not. Oh, especialy when you deal with REAL knife attack, you can try it.

Iriminage: useless. When tori push down uke, it is very unusually that uke return in stand position
Kaiten nage: useless. When tori push away uke, he push against the side body but he should to push against the arm, with the wrist grabbing.
Very pretty, but I would like to see him respond to an attack.
